Social Distancing Diaries - April 29

I'm feeling tired this evening. I had to make a run for a few groceries and cat treats, and I just want to lay in bed and do very little for the rest of the night.

There are a million different things I could be doing around the apartment. I could be cleaning, reading or listening to music, but I think more about these things than actually doing them. Once I start something I’m better at keeping at it, but the inertia is so bad. It’s always been the way.

Sometimes I feel like doing things late at night, but I have to make sure I’m up for work the next day.

Other than that, everything’s the same-old, same-old here; I wish I had more to report, but it’s late, and I don’t really feel like I have any good stories right now, and whatever introspection I have right now needs considerably more time and polish before I’m ready to post it on a public forum like this blog.

I can, however, show you an empty bus seat. Halifax Transit put signs on every other bus seat to increase the chance of social distancing. They also have everyone load from the back and aren’t collecting fares. Since I don’t live in a particularly walk-friendly neighborhood, I’m glad the bus is up and running, but of course I’m trying to limit the number of times I have to take a trip out of my apartment.
